Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. You may have noticed in my video “Get Ready With Me France vs Korea” that korean and french girls have a really different style concerning makeup and outfit, But today we’re gonna talk about makeup And I’m gonna show you a really famous trend here in Korea It’s in fact the puffy, smiling eyes You know when you smile, you have an under-eye puffiness And those “smiling eyes” are perceived as a cute thing for korean people, And they really enjoy that, Because Korean girls prefer being cute than sexy. Ok so I removed the mascara that I usually have on my lower lashes And we’re going to start the tutorial! You’ll need a contour and highlight palette I have this one from Misha I think that it’s a Korean brand There is one highlighter, Bronzer and contour This palette is really great and the colors are nice. You’ll also need really thin and precise brushes. So…I’m gonna come closer 😉 let it be clear that i dont have a korean style makeup today If you want to see my interpretation of a classic korean makeup Feel free to watch my last get ready with me France vs Korea video! This is a 3-step technique, And for the 1st one, you want to take a thin brush with a light brown eye-shadow, and draw the outline, like a shadow. I would say at 3mm from the eye. Don’t go too far or you’ll create eyebags! And then, blend with a fluffier brush, while staying precise to keep that shadow. The 2nd step consist in applying highlighter with a thin brush Under the shadow that you just created, and in the inner corner of your eyes. You can even apply gold eye-shadow if you want to! The goal is to create an illusion : the shadow will dig and the highlighter will accentuate. The 3rd step will be to define, with a brown eye-shadow on a thin brush, the outer corner of your eyes. It will accentuate even more the puffiness under your eyes. I’m gonna show it to you on the other side 1st step : take some light brown eye shadow with a thin brush to create a shadow At 3mm to 5mm from the eye. Blend to make it appear more natural Once again, with a thin brush, apply some highlighter, gold or glittery eyeshadow, to make your under eye stick out And finally 3rd step is to define the outer corner of you eye. I’m adding you some “before/after” pictures to show you the difference I think that I look sooo different, it really changes my gaze! Tell me if you like it 🙂 It’s the end of this video, I really hope that you liked discovering this korean trend! Tell me if you already knew about this technique, and if you do it sometimes!
