How to Get Rid Of Dry Eyes Naturally At Home
1. Frequent eyelid wash
Put a few drops of baby shampoo on your clean fingers.
With your eyes closed, gently massage the eyelids near the base of the eyelashes.
Rinse the soap completely from your eyelids with warm water.
Do this once or twice a day.
2. Warm Compress
Soak a clean, lint-free cloth in hot water and wring it out of the excess water.
Keep this warm, damp cloth on closed eyelids for up to 10 minutes at a time (no more than that). Be sure to moisten the fabric again with warm water when it cools.
Finally, give your eyes a good rinse with warm water.
Use this treatment at least twice a day until your symptoms disappear.
3. Aloe Vera
Rinse a sheet of aloe vera thoroughly and extract the gel.
Place the gel on a piece of tissue and wipe it gently on the outside of the eyelids.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Rinse with warm water.
Use this remedy 2 or 3 times a day.
Note: Do not put aloe vera gel directly on your eyes.
4. Rose water
Dip a piece of cotton cloth or a cotton ball in rose water and apply it on closed eyelids. Let it act for about 10 minutes. Repeat 2 or 3 times a day.
Another option is to rinse your eyes with pure rose water or use pure rose water as eye drops for immediate relief. Do this 2 or 3 times a day.
Put a few drops of olive oil or coconut oil on the fingertips.
Gently rub the oil over your closed eyelids and massage for a couple of minutes.
Then, place the palms on the eyelids and cover them completely for a few minutes. You do not need to rinse the oil from your eyelids, as it will be absorbed.
Do this 2 or 3 times a day.
